Hello and welcome to the online face of The Silver Pagan.

We are a small Australian importer/wholesaler of Sterling Silver jewellery. The main focus of our business is wholesaling to stores in Australia but hey, we'll sell to any shop on the planet that wants our stock. The main purpose of this site is to be a point of contact for retailers to see and enquire about our range. Obviously we do some retailing from this site, which generally falls under the category of "It helps pay the bills", but our focus is on wholesaling.

We are the "Silver" Pagan because all our items are made from 92.5% Sterling silver, not "Silvery" or "Silver Plate". All our products are stamped with the 925 mark showing that they are 92.5% and we only deal with reputable manufacturers to ensure the continued high quality of our products.

In precious metals value is as important as price so we include the weight of each item (in grams) in the description. As a guide, most of those little "Ingot" pendants are a 10 gram weight in silver, so think of things as comparable to that ingot and you won't go too far wrong. 

Because the Pentagram is the symbol of our belief system we do not sell inverted ones as they are offensive to us. Similarly we don't sell inverted crosses or other symbols designed to be offensive to other beliefs.

Not everything in our range is "Pagan" or "Witchy", we are striving for a range that appeals to both the Pagan and non Pagan community (the Marcasite for example is proving rather popular everywhere it goes.)

If by chance you don't find something you like, or you think that we should add a particular design to the range, please use the "Contact Us" page and tell us. If you've ever thought "Gee, I wish they had a ......" tell us and we'll see what we can do.

On a lighter side, this is the first time we've done anything like this, so if I mess up somehow, please let me know. And don't worry if the look of the site suddenly changes. We're still working on that, so anything might happen.

New Apothecary Range Released

Well it's taken a while, but today Theresa and I are both pleased and proud to announce the launch of our new range of minerals and crystals.

For the last couple of months I've been searching the globe for approprite items for this new range. (As well as designing and printing the labels and everything else that had to be done.) 

We are launching with a selection of 25 different types of crystals and minerals sourced from every continent on Earth except Antarctica. ;)

This range is provided for the practitioner as opposed to the collector. When making poppets or medicine bags the usual range of minerals and crystals available are simply too large to be of easy use. So we have searched for and found smaller versions, things like Amethyst crystals only 2-4 cm in length and clear Arkansas crystals of the same size. 

The descriptions cover the Chakras associated with each mineral or crystal and a basic outline of their uses. These are meant as a rough guide for the novice and are not meant as a replacement for good, solid reading and research. A quick read of a general product description is no substitute for education from reference works or lessons from a Mentor or teacher.

Please feel free to browse the range, we have more items coming from overseas to expand the range so expect constant increases.
